Nail Polish Remover

If you choose to use nail polish remover to remove your acrylic nails be sure to buy the type of nail polish remover that contains acetone.

Be sure to check the ingredients before making your purchase because if the polish remover does not contain acetone, it will not be strong enough to do the job. You will need to soak your acrylic nails in the nail polish remover solution. To protect the skin around your nails, place petroleum jelly on the skin that surrounds the nails.

Next you need to place the complete bottle of nail polish remove in the microwave and heat it up in a bowl. Heating the solution will make the whole process quicker and easier. Once the solution is heated, soak your fingertips in the solution for fifteen to twenty minutes.
