When you are thirsty or dehydrated, then your mouth will smell bad. That is because the dead cells in your mouth are collecting and starting to break down. If you eat a lot of foods that cause your mouth to become dry, then you can expect bad breath.
Foods such as pretzels and other salty snacks are often to blame. In addition, alcohol will do this to you, too. Drinking wine and other alcoholic beverages, then get ready to brush or to grab a mint or a stick of gum. You will need it.
There are other foods that cause bad breath. When you eat, the best thing you can do is to brush and floss to combat this problem.
